Donate to CESA

States are the driving force behind clean energy progress in the U.S.

To achieve its mission, Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA) facilitates and supports collaborative initiatives, provides technical assistance, and develops analysis and studies designed to accelerate clean energy deployment.

CESA is funded by its members and by several foundations who are supporting the great work we do and the unique role we play in the clean energy policy space. But, we could use your help! Help us support state and local efforts to advance markets, expand access, and promote a just transition to a clean energy future.

If you like the work we're doing, if you've attended one or more of our free webinars, if you have benefited from the information that we gather and share, and you would like to support our work directly, please consider making a donation!

Clean Energy Group is a 501(c)(3) organization and your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Thank you for your support!

A message from CESA's Executive Director

CESA has been able to provide you and others with reports, webinars, and newsletters at no charge, primarily because of the generous financial support from private foundations, the federal government, and CESA-member organizations. But contributions from individuals like you are also crucial for us to continue—and even expand—our public-facing activities.

Donor Advised Funds

A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes.

If you have a donor advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to the Clean Energy States Alliance directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating).

Use the DAF Direct form at the right to make a donation.

For more information about making a tax-deductible gift to the Clean Energy States Alliance through a DAF, please contact Tony Vargo at or call 802-223-2554.
