ESyst: Optimizing Energy Storage Savings with Geli’s New Online Tool

Wednesday, May 24, 2017 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

In this webinar, Geli and Clean Energy Group presented Geli’s newly released online energy storage and solar+storage design tool, ESyst, and walked through an example of how the free tool can be used to optimize electric bill savings for an actual affordable housing property. Clean Energy Group is partnering with Geli to provide free ESyst analysis support to nonprofit organizations working in low-income communities and affordable housing.

Geli, an energy storage control and monitoring software company, developed ESyst to help standardize and simplify the process of selecting optimal energy storage and solar+storage systems for commercial and industrial properties – allowing users to right-size energy storage systems in a matter of minutes. The free tool performs an in-depth site analysis that calculates both energy and demand charges savings over time, with functionality to generate a detailed project pro forma. ESyst supports analysis of over 10,000 electric rate tariffs across 1,300 U.S. utility territories, and includes 75 different hardware combinations for projects ranging in size from 30 kilowatts to more than a megawatt.
