ESTAP RFI Bidder’s Call

The Energy Storage Technology Advancement Partnership (ESTAP) is a new federal-state project co-funding and information-sharing project, supported by the Department of Energy’s Office of Electricity (DOE OE) and implemented by Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) in collaboration with Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA). The goal of the project is to accelerate the deployment of electrical energy storage technologies in the U.S. through the creation of partnerships. By working together, DOE and participating states can share information and lessons learned, leverage available funds, and ultimately drive forward progress in electrical energy storage commercialization and deployment.
On this webinar, bidders (state entities) and their partners will have access to staff from DOE OE, Sandia National Laboratories, and CESA in order to address either live questions about the RFI or questions that have been submitted to Suzette Howey of Sandia National Laboratories (sbhowey@sandia.gov). Questions submitted to Sandia, and answers, are public and will be shared with all bidders. Questions will only be accepted until March 5, 2012 at 4 p.m. Eastern. Responses to the RFI are due Thursday, March 8, 2012
The webinar will end by 5 p.m. Eastern, and opening remarks about the purpose of the RFI and ESTAP will be made by Dr. Imre Gyuk, Energy Storage Program Manager at DOE OE.
