The National Renewable Energy Laboratory recently launched the Procurement Analysis Tool (PAT)—a free, user-friendly resource designed to help public and private energy buyers plan and screen off-site electricity procurement options. With a guided interface and insights powered by NREL’s best-in-class data and models, PAT empowers users to explore cost-effective, utility-scale energy strategies tailored to their goals and locations.

This webinar for state and federal officials, presented by the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA), will provide an overview of PAT’s features, walk through common use cases, and offer live Q&A with the development team at NREL. Speakers include Sushmita Jena, Researcher III – Complex Decision Analysis at NREL, and Jeff Cook, Group Manager II – Policy Analysis at NREL. CESA Executive Director Warren Leon will moderate.
