Charles Hua

Research Fellow

Charles Hua is a CESA Research Fellow, helping to document and analyze state 100% clean energy plans, with a focus on equity and environmental justice. He is also a policy analyst at Rewiring America and student at Harvard College studying statistics and mathematics with a focus on climate and energy policy. At Harvard, he serves on the Harvard Presidential Committee on Sustainability, is helping develop and write Harvard's forthcoming sustainability plan, and has previously advised Fortune 500 companies and international NGOs on sustainability and climate issues. Charles has been recognized as a 2018 U.S. Presidential Scholar, an Energy News Network 40 Under 40 recipient, and as an Aspen Institute Future Climate Leader. He serves on the Board of Directors for environmental nonprofits Slipstream, Energy News Network, and Clean Wisconsin.
