Members-Only: The Next Phase of State Clean Energy Action: An Exclusive Conversation with Jigar Shah
As a continuation of our work helping CESA members improve public education efforts around clean/renewable energy affordability benefits, CESA launched three Water Cooler meetings as a series on this topic. At this meeting, we heard from Leslie Leavoy, Vice President of Strategic Communications & Public Relations at Lilette Advisors.
CESA will host an interactive meeting with researchers from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), open exclusively to state and federal employees. In this meeting, NREL researchers will showcase preliminary analysis demonstrating the impact of varying policy design choices on future state energy portfolios, followed by a moderated discussion.
The Offshore Wind and Equity National Workshop is a 3-day virtual event that will bring together representatives from state agencies and community-based organizations (CBOs) to identify how state agencies can incorporate principles of Equity and Justice into the offshore wind planning and development process.
The Solar with Justice 2023 National Workshop will foster connections between state agencies and community organizations as well as provide opportunities for both groups to share opportunities and barriers to solar development in under-resourced communities.
