In this webinar, Clean Energy Group’s project director Seth Mullendore and senior finance director Rob Sanders provided an introduction to the concept of resilient power, and introduced Clean Energy Group’s new Resilient Power Toolkits. These toolkits are a good starting point for anyone interested in developing a resilient solar+storage project in their community.
Guest speakers from Sustainable CUNY, Meister Consultants, and the NYC Mayor’s Office of Sustainability presented NYC’s Resilient Solar Roadmap, a 5-7 year plan for expanding the deployment of solar+storage in NYC, and discussed the city’s energy storage target.
Because there were many more questions than we were able to answer on our March 1st webinar, “Interactions between Wind Turbines and Wildlife,” Clean Energy Group hosted a follow-up webinar to address additional questions from the audience. Taber Allison from the American Wind Wildlife Institute (AWWI) presented.
Ian Hoffman from LBNL discussed the lessons learned from low-income energy efficiency programs, and how they can be applied to low-income solar programs. Topics covered include how programs can be tailored to different segments of the low-income population, such as multifamily vs. single-family housing, as well as what obstacles have been encountered and what new solutions are proposed.
Clean Energy Group’s Resilient Power Project is kicking off a series of presentations featuring experts from around the solar+storage industry. In this webinar, guest speakers from JLM Energy discussed their experiences in the solar+storage market, new product offerings, and where they see opportunities for solar+storage today and in the future.
